I would like to propose a weekly event where after seminar we (Grad Students, of age Undergrad students, friends, family. etc) meet at Lucky's Pub located at St. Emmanuel and Rusk (801 St. Emmanuel) to help ease our way into the weekend. No need to sign up or anything, just show up and have a good time. This I think will help keep the camaraderie going from the Sunday's BBQ.

If there are lots of people, I would like a head count so I can make reservations. Say the deadline for making suggestions is Saturday, November 8th. This should be fun! =)

Hey guys,

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love dressing up and having a good time with it. And I plan on doing my thesis proposal that week and will want to have a celebration/pity party depending on the outcome! So, if there is enough interest I was thinking about hosting a party on Saturday Nov. 1st. I know Halloween is that friday, but I figure people will be going out that night...so Saturday would work best. We live really close to campus(on the north side... its safe) so its ...

Hello Everybody,
Last semester a few of us (actually just office 316, which i must add is full of semi professional bowlers) had an informal bowling league going every friday. There are at least a couple of us who would like to do it again, but it would be funner if we had more than one team so we could compete. If anybody is interested let me know, we are still unsure of what time would be good so suggest something that works for you.

Mr Davis now believes "the Earth is flat and horizontally infinite - it stretches horizontally forever".

"And it is at least 9,000 kilometres deep", he adds.

James McIntyre, a British-based moderator of a Flat Earth Society discussion website, has a slightly different take. "The Earth is, more or less, a disc," he states. "Obviously it isn't perfectly flat thanks to geological phenomena like hills and valleys. It is around 24,900 miles in diameter." ...
